“Carrot Cake” and “Amazake” at Koji Kado wabi Opening 2/20 on Chaya Sakura-dori Avenue [Ashitsu Gourmet]

We stopped by 麹菓堂 wabi, a new koji cafe on the first floor of スペースR along Chaya Sakura-dori, to try its carrot cake and koji amazake.

We bought jewel-like bonbons at HELMS Chocolate, which opened February 10 on the 1st floor of Ghost Castle Ashiya near Route 2.

Instagrammer fumi_log1 shared a photo of Come Come’s steamed Chamiton pork belly and napa cabbage, just 5 minutes from JR Ashiya Station.

We tried the onigiri from “Omusubi Ashiya Chaya,” opening today, November 1, along Ashiya Hondori. The rice and nori looked glossy and delicious.
