A quick note on the November 2021 article ranking
The opening of the upscale supermarket “Big Beans” is getting close. (Grand opening on 12/10.) Since Ashiya City will be its first location outside Osaka City, expectations are high.
In 2nd place is our article about the opening of “Can Do.” It opened in Laporte in front of the station, and while it isn’t huge, it seems to have a wide and well-stocked selection〜

A quick note on the November 2021 gourmet article ranking
“Ashiya Karoru” in Oharacho often appears at special events too, and apparently their baked apples are best “warmed in the microwave for 2–3 minutes and served with vanilla ice cream.”
The 2nd-place “BAKER Masako Nakao” has a uniquely shaped “twist-twist bread.” Bakeries where you can enjoy the look as well as the taste are great, aren’t they?
