A New Prefab Building Is Up by JR Ashiya Station’s South Exit

A large new prefab building has appeared just outside JR Ashiya Station’s south exit, likely tied to the nearby 7-Eleven.

A new four-story building near JR Ashiya Station, next to Torikizoku Ashiya, is taking shape with a stylish glass-fronted first and second floor.

Medical tenants are being sought for the new “CH.158 BLDG. HANSHIN ASHIYA,” under construction just north of Hanshin Ashiya Station.

A narrow tunnel under the Hanshin Line near Hanshin Ashiya Station will be closed until September 30 for road improvement work.

A bicycle parking area appears to be under construction just outside JR Ashiya Station’s south exit.

A 9-story, 22-unit apartment building is planned for the former Peace Curry site in Chayanomachi.

Construction has started at the former Kamakura Pasta Higashinada site near Konan-Yamate Station along National Route 2.

The Jizo statue near JR Ashiya Station will be moved nearby during construction from February 5 to March 21, then returned around 2028.

The Seido pedestrian bridge over National Route 43 is closed from January 7 to February 28 for repair work aimed at extending its lifespan.
