A tunnel passing under the Hanshin Main Line tracks (elevated), located west of Hanshin Ashiya Station and just south of the Shinko Sports Gymnasium & Youth Center (Ashiya Municipal Gymnasium), has opened〜
↑Construction had been underway since July this year.
↑Compared to before, it has become a much wider tunnel!
↑Bollards have been installed, so cars cannot pass through, but the ground has been lowered enough that cyclists can ride through without getting off.
↑The view from the south side. You can see the “Shinko Sports Gymnasium & Youth Center (Ashiya Municipal Gymnasium & Youth Center)” on the other side.
↑Because the ground was lowered, handrails have been installed along the sloped sections.
↑It seems to have become much easier and more convenient to pass through when going from the south side to the gymnasium or Takarajimaike Park, or from the north side to Ashiya Post Office〜. While we were taking photos, several cyclists were already using it.

Address-wise, it is between Fukaekitamachi and Fukaehonmachi in Higashinada Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, and Kawanishicho and Hiratakitacho in Ashiya City.（A bit confusing〜）
