We stopped by Jizo Park along National Route 2. It’s a small, child-friendly park with playground equipment—and a surprisingly tall, impressive Jizo statue.

At Omasu Park near Hanshin Ashiya Station, four adorable guardian animals watch over the grounds—including what appear to be a cat, dog, frog, and bear.

Along Hanamizuki-dori in Kuregawacho, between Hanshin Ashiya and Uchide stations, the benches connecting National Route 43 with Rinko-sen Road were completely overgrown with grass—many were nearly buried from view.

Along National Route 43 near Seido Intersection, there’s a mysterious display where you can check the current level of air pollution.
