We stopped by Jizo Park along National Route 2.

It’s a small park, but it has playground equipment and looks like a nice place for children to play.
Since it’s called “Jizo Park,” there must be a Jizo statue here. We wondered what it would look like.

Oh… it’s quite a bit bigger than we expected.
It’s slender but tall—an impressive Jizo statue. It certainly has enough presence to have the park named after it.

The playground equipment we mentioned earlier is to the right of the Jizo statue, while another small park sits across an alley on its left.
We wandered around to see what we could find over there, and…

We found this cute little creature. An owl, perhaps?

This one looks like a frog. So cute!
This park has a large statue facing Route 2 and tiny figures tucked quietly away in the grass.
