The school lunch menu from Seido Junior High School that made it into the Best 12 was:
- Tanba black bean sekihan
- Milk
- Special platter of chicken and Iwatsu negi
- Hyogo Five Regions salad
- Seto roasted nori
- Tomato umami soup
- Kobe strawberry sauce and milk pudding
That’s the lineup! It sounds delicious!
It even includes the “milk pudding” that was introduced in “Koho Ashiya” and on Cookpad as one of “Ashiya’s school lunch recipes”!
↑We also wrote a report on Ashitsuu after trying to make it ourselves.
Going forward, winners such as the Grand Prize Menu and Runner-Up Menu Award will be selected from the Best 12, and they’ll be announced on Zoom and YouTube on Saturday, December 4, followed by an awards ceremony!
Ashiya’s school lunches are so well known for being “delicious” that they were even made into a movie, so we really hope they win!
