It looks like the premiere screening of the film “Ashiya no Kyushoku”, which was filmed in Ashiya and centers on the city’s school lunches, will be held at Luna Hall on Sunday, November 7.

The film stars actress Ruka Matsuda, who is from Okinawa and has appeared in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid and the NHK morning drama Scarlet.
Other cast members include Bunchin Katsura and Hidekazu Akai, and the theme song has been confirmed as Ai Otsuka’s “Dracaena”!
The film is reportedly scheduled for an advance Kansai release from February 4, 2022 at OS Cinemas Mint Kobe, Theatre Umeda, and Uplink Kyoto, followed by a nationwide rollout from March 4 at Shinjuku Musashino-kan and other theaters.
This screening is a chance to see the film in Ashiya before anywhere else, so it’s definitely one to watch!
