It looks like Mana-ya Ashiya Hondori Koya, a takeout shop specializing in fresh, uncooked gyoza, is opening in Omasu-cho along Ashiya Hondori.

↑A sign has been put up. It will apparently be a cashless, self-service shop open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with plans to introduce the “OriHime” avatar robot.
The shop will reportedly carry at least seven varieties of frozen, uncooked gyoza made entirely with Japanese ingredients at all times.

Mana-ya is a takeout shop specializing in fresh, uncooked gyoza, with its main location in Okamoto, Kobe. In addition to its classic “Mana Gyoza,” it apparently sells a wide variety of gyoza and shumai, including “Agu Pork Gyoza,” “Shiso Mana Gyoza,” and “Okinawa Taco Gyoza.”

Takeout shops specializing in fresh, uncooked gyoza were everywhere for a while, but they have become much less common lately—so it’s quite a surprise to see one coming to Ashiya Hondori! We’re curious to try these carefully crafted gyoza from Okamoto, Kobe, made with Japanese ingredients.
