It looks like “Omusubi Ashiya Chaya”, which was located in Omasu-cho along Ashiya Hondori, is relocating and opening across the street at an angle in Kinmitsu-cho〜
(Information provided by Mizuking @ Ashitsu SP)

↑ The exterior of the former location before the move of “Omusubi Ashiya Chaya.” It was next to the eel restaurant “Miyoshi.”
Here is the map for the former location↓
The address is 5-17 Omasu-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

↑ A flyer for the relocation opening event was placed on the shutter at the new location. For three days from Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 7, it looks like they’ll be selling limited-time revived menu items and accepting coupons attached to the flyer.
The coupons include some pretty great deals, such as “20% off omusubi” and “3,000 yen off 30kg of new rice”!

The address is 8-3 Kinmitsu-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around the New Location of “Omusubi Ashiya Chaya”

↑ It’s on the first floor of the building with the pastel green roof, on the west side of Ashiya Hondori. “Bar karma” is next door on the left when facing the storefront.

↑ If you head this way north, you’ll find places like the dry cleaner “Ashiya Sunshine Center,” the kushikatsu restaurant “Ai,” “Yakiniku Azuma,” and the Ashiya Public Health Center, before reaching National Route 2.

↑ If you head the opposite way south, you’ll reach the Naruo-Mikage Line.

Finally
Every time I passed by, there was always a “sold out” notice posted, so this is definitely a very popular omusubi shop〜. Now that it has moved south, it’s even closer to Hanshin Ashiya Station, making it easier to stop by while visiting other shops nearby.
Mizuking @ Ashitsu SP, thank you for the information!
