Under the cherry trees along the pedestrian-only street, artificial turf will be laid out to create a one-day-only ohanami picnic area!
- During the event, the area from National Route 2 to around Atelier Chloe Ashiya will become pedestrian-only
- You can enjoy cherry blossom viewing on the artificial turf
- Restaurants and businesses on and around Chaya Sakura Street will set up booths
- The “Kids Dream Yatai”, planned and run by children, will also appear
On the same day, the “Ashiya Sakura Festival” will also be held along the Ashiya River! It’s very close by, so you can easily visit both and enjoy them♪
