It looks like the coin-operated parking lot “D Parking Ashiyashi Narihira-cho Dai 1”, located along National Route 2 near JR Ashiya Station, will have all parking spaces closed from Sunday, February 1 through the end of September.
↑A “Notice of Parking Space Closure” was posted on the payment machine. The closure period starts on February 1, but they are asking that cars currently parked there be moved out by 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28. Please keep this in mind if you plan to use it.

Finally
Since it opened in 2023, this has been a sensor-based parking lot without locking plates. I wonder if some kind of system will be changed during the temporary closure. Or maybe, since part of the lot has remained gravel and hasn’t been used as parking spaces, they might pave it with asphalt and add more spaces.
Since this is only a temporary closure, it looks like it will probably continue to be used as a parking lot for a while after it reopens.
