Just outside the south exit of JR Ashiya Station, a new prefab building has gone up on the vacant lot next to the station building (south of the platforms).
↑It’s a single-story building, but it looks pretty big.

↑The front looks like it has automatic doors.
↑As we guessed when it was still just a sign, the building itself really does look similar to the 7-Eleven diagonally across the street. Is it relocating? Or could it possibly be a second location?
↑By the way, this is what it looks like from the back side (station side). It seems to have quite a bit of depth too.
↑Also, the bicycle parking area planned for the same site looks like it’ll be accessed by going up the slope on the right side when facing the prefab building.
