Ashiya Summer Carnival Set for Saturday July 27 Admission by Advance Reservation Only

The event will take place at Ashiya City General Park (renamed “Miratap Park Ashiya” from 5/1), Shio-Ashiya Green Space, and Shio-Ashiya Beach.

Admission will be by reservation again this year, with limited capacity
Since the 44th event two years ago, entry into the main venue, where the festival food stalls and fireworks viewing seats are located, has required advance reservations. You’ll need either a “Sponsored Viewing Seat Ticket” or a “Citizens’ Plaza Admission Ticket.”
According to the announcement, applications for “Sponsored Viewing Seat Tickets” are expected to open around Golden Week, while applications for “Citizens’ Plaza Admission Tickets” are expected to open in early June. More details on how to apply are expected around late April, so be sure to keep an eye out!
“Cleanup Operation” to be held the day after the event
The day after the fireworks, on Sunday, July 28, from 8:00 to 12:00, the “Cleanup Operation” will be held.
The locations are the same: Ashiya City General Park, Shio-Ashiya Green Space, and Shio-Ashiya Beach. After the festival, let’s help keep the town clean!
