It looks like Ashiya City General Park in Yokocho, in the Minami-Ashiyahama area, has chosen a naming rights partner, and from Wednesday, May 1, its nickname will apparently become “Miratap Park Ashiya”〜

The naming rights partner is Sanwa Company Ltd., an Osaka-based company that sells housing equipment and building materials online.
Since the company will be changing its name to Miratap Inc. on October 1, it seems they acquired the naming rights ahead of the name change〜
Ashiya City General Park is a large park featuring not only a spacious ground with a track, but also futsal courts, a playground, Shioashiya Beach, and a barbecue area.
In summer, it serves as the venue for the Ashiya Summer Carnival fireworks festival, and on Sunday, April 21, the “Tyrannosaurus Race” was scheduled to be held there as well. It’s used quite a lot as an event venue〜
Even with its new nickname, “Miratap Park Ashiya,” we hope it continues to be a beloved general park for the local community!
