Located along National Route 2 near the border between Kobe City and Ashiya City, the coppepan specialty shop “岡本こっぺ・Lun” has been temporarily closed from August 21 as it prepares for a renewal reopening with a new location and updated business operations.

↑ The shutter is closed, and there’s a tenant募集 sign posted.

↑ A notice about the closure was also posted. Details about the relocation and renewal appear to be announced later on their website.

↑ If you go this way (west), you’ll find the shopping mall “セルバ甲南山手.”

↑ If you go the other way (east), you’ll soon enter Ashiya City, where you’ll find places such as “つちや酒店,” “清水公園,” and the ramen shop “げんこつ 芦屋店.”

In Closing
The shop first opened in Okamoto in 2016 and moved to Konan-Yamate in March 2020, and it looks like this will be its second relocation. From freshly made nostalgic coppepan sandwiches to fried bread, we’d definitely like to go try them again after the relocation renewal!
