A new pizzeria called “viola,” located about a four-minute walk from JR Ashiya Station, is set to open on Saturday, May 8.

I found this flyer in my mailbox at home in Fukae! It looks like they’re distributing it across quite a wide area.
They’ve even imported a wood-fired pizza oven from Italy, so they’re clearly serious about their pizza!
Here’s the location on the map↓
The address is Popuri Ashiya 1F, 5-16 Oharacho, Ashiya, Hyogo.
What’s Around “viola”

Heading this way, toward the mountains, will take you to the Yamate Kansen road.

Heading in the opposite direction, toward the sea, you’ll find La Mall Ashiya on the other side of Ekimae-dori. On the near corner is Licorne (リコルヌ), a cute sweets shop selling macarons and other treats.
“viola” Restaurant Information

The menu features a wide variety of pizzas, ranging from familiar classics such as Margherita, Marinara, and Quattro Formaggi to more unusual options like ’Nduja e Bianchetti.
(Apparently, ’nduja is a spicy, spreadable sausage originating in Calabria, southern Italy!)
