About “Sundi”
Screenshot from the official Sundi website
“Sundi” is a discount supermarket chain founded in Osaka. It seems to be popular for offering groceries and daily necessities at low prices. The new Ashiya Daitocho location will also reportedly include a fruit and vegetable section called “Yasai Kudamono Morio.”
Nearby locations include one inside Sunshine Wharf Kobe in Higashinada Ward, Kobe, as well as stores near Hanshin Koroen Station and Hanshin Imazu Station in Nishinomiya.
In Closing
The nearby Coop Uchidehama closed in March this year, so it’s great news that the discount supermarket Sundi is opening here! It’s scheduled to open on September 17—something to look forward to!
