The convenience store “Seven-Eleven JR Ashiya Ekimae Store” in front of the south exit of JR Ashiya Station looks like it will be relocating to the new prefab building diagonally across the street〜

↑The newly built prefab building just east of JR Ashiya Station’s south exit. JR Ashiya Station can be seen in the back left of the photo, and the new bicycle parking area that opened last December is just barely visible on the right.

↑The familiar “Seven-Eleven” logo was on the glass of the automatic doors!

↑Below the logo, the store name “JR Ashiya Ekimae Store” is also shown! This is probably a relocation.
(By the way, the sign before the prefab building was constructed also had the name of “Kamoya Co., Ltd.”, the company that operates “Seven-Eleven JR Ashiya Ekimae Store”〜)

↑The current exterior of “Seven-Eleven JR Ashiya Ekimae Store.” It used to be about 70 meters east of its current location, and relocated to this spot at the end of November 2023.
Here is the map for “Seven-Eleven JR Ashiya Ekimae Store”↓
The address is 1-22 Narihira-cho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
This repeated relocation every few years is probably due to the ongoing JR Ashiya Station South District redevelopment project〜.
The opening date at the new location has not been announced yet, but if it’s a relocation renewal, there may be a commemorative sale too!? We’ll be keeping an eye on it!
