↑ The “Notice of Closure” posted inside the store. Co-op Uchidehama had been selected as one of the “candidate stores for closure” announced this March.
Unfortunately, it seems their business did not improve enough to continue operating…
An information session will be held in December with details about nearby stores and home delivery services. Those who wish to attend apparently need to sign up in advance at the service counter.

It had been announced in advance as a “candidate store for closure,” but unfortunately, business did not improve enough, and the store will be closing.
Currently, in Ashiya City, aside from Uchidehama, there are four Co-op locations: “Co-op Hama Ashiya” (Kuregawa-cho), “Co-op Days Ashiya” (Ohara-cho, Laporte East Building), “Co-op Mini Higashiyama” (Higashiyama-cho), and “Co-op Mini Nishi Ashiya” (Nishiashiya-cho), but all of them are quite far on foot… (Nearby supermarkets include “KOHYO Ashiya Nangu Store” and “Daiei Higashi Ashiya Store.”)
