It looks like the new large shopping mall “OTTO Minami Ashiyahama” being built in Kaiyocho in the Minami Ashiyahama area is now scheduled to open around next spring〜

“OTTO Minami Ashiyahama” was originally scheduled to open around May 2025, but it looks like it has been postponed to spring 2026.
There had already been information that it would include a supermarket (Maruhachi group), restaurants, specialty shops, medical clinics, and a free space open to the community, and it seems a 100-yen shop will be opening there too.
At the medical clinic mall, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, and dermatology have already been confirmed, while ENT, urology, pediatrics, and psychosomatic medicine are apparently still recruiting clinics to open〜
↑ The planned site of “OTTO Minami Ashiyahama” is a large plot of land on the west side of the Kaiyo Greenway. It looks like it’s going to be quite a big shopping mall, so it should make the area more convenient. We’re looking forward to it〜
