↑The package commemorates the 110th anniversary of JR Ashiya Station’s opening, featuring illustrations of the station buildings through the years and the newly renovated current station building.
↑Along with a wet towel, it also comes with a special card about “The History of JR Ashiya Station”!
↑Here’s what’s inside the bento! It’s wonderfully festive and fitting for a celebration!
↑There are two kinds of rice balls: barley rice and sekihan with chestnuts!
↑It also includes ikanago no kugini, a sweet-and-savory simmered sand eel dish that’s a springtime specialty of the Hanshin area!
↑The very tender “simmered octopus” is just what you’d expect from Awajiya, famous for its “Hipparidako Meshi” octopus rice!

The “Rokko Mountain Traverse Bento Celebrating the 110th Anniversary of Ashiya Station” is available for just four days from July 29 to August 1!
On the 29th, it was sold only at a temporary shop inside JR Ashiya Station, but from the 30th onward, it will apparently be available at Awajiya stores.
