About the Design Contest for Designated Garbage Bags
What They’re Looking For
- A design (one type) for Ashiya City’s designated garbage bags used for “burnable garbage” and “other non-burnable garbage”
- A design that harmonizes with Ashiya City’s scenery
Application Deadline
Friday, September 30, 2022〔must arrive by this date〕
Eligibility
As of August 1, 2022, applicants must be residents of Ashiya City, or students/employees attending or working in Ashiya City (one entry per person or group)
※Minors should apply with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Prize
- Selected design (1 work): A cash prize of 50,000 yen will be awarded. For minors, the prize will be a 50,000-yen book card.
※The selected design may be adjusted as needed, within a range that does not alter the intent of the design, before being adopted as the design for Ashiya City’s designated garbage bags.
※The selected design (1 work) will be chosen after a screening process.
Also, even among designs that are not selected for adoption, outstanding designs by elementary and junior high school students in Ashiya City are scheduled to be chosen as “Special Selection” and “Selected” works!
- Special Selection for elementary school students attending school in Ashiya City: 3,000-yen book card (up to 2 students)
- Selected works by elementary school students attending school in Ashiya City: 1,000-yen book card (a small number of students)
- Special Selection for junior high school students attending school in Ashiya City: 3,000-yen book card (up to 2 students)
- Selected works by junior high school students attending school in Ashiya City: 1,000-yen book card (a small number of students)
