We tried the weekday-only rice bowl lunch at Ashiya Tonkatsu Musashi, a tonkatsu specialty restaurant near JR Ashiya Station!
Ashiya Tonkatsu Musashi’s Ebi Katsu-don
Ebi Katsu-don: ¥1,000 (tax included)
This rice bowl is topped with two shrimp cutlets simmered with egg.
The cutlets are packed with plump, juicy shrimp!
It comes with red miso soup and pickles. The richly flavored soup pairs perfectly with the katsu-don!
Ashiya Tonkatsu Musashi’s Menu
The rice bowl menu is available only at lunchtime on weekdays. In addition to katsu-don and ebi katsu-don, there’s also the Musashi-don, which comes with half a pork cutlet and half a shrimp cutlet!
There’s also a wide variety of set meals, and takeout is available too.
