We got takeout lunch and frozen oil-simmered seafood from おいりぃ, a fishmonger-style deli that opened on September 6 near Hanshin Ashiya Station!

They also have a 1,300 yen bento with even more items than the one in the photo.
↑ The side dishes included fried chicken, cherry tomatoes, tamagoyaki, white fish tempura, fried scallop, shirasu kakiage, tartar sauce, okara, sesame-dressed vegetables, and mentaiko! So luxurious!
I was wondering what this round piece was, and I was surprised to find that inside was a “scallop”!
Shirasu kakiage feels just right for a fishmonger-run shop!
And having mentaiko on top of the rice made me so happy!
“Small Octopus Simmered in Oil” 750 yen (tax included)
I received this as a bonus for bringing in the opening commemorative postcard, which was placed on the signboard in front of the shop! So generous…!!
It’s small octopus simmered in extra virgin olive oil with garlic and black pepper.
It’s very tender and easy to eat! The aroma of garlic really whets your appetite!

↑ The shop is located down a small alley just south of the railroad crossing at the west end of the Hanshin Ashiya Station platform!
It’s a prepared foods shop centered on fish dishes, opened by the fresh fish shop 魚々真 in Fukaeminami-machi!
They offer refrigerated and frozen prepared dishes, fried items, bento, ara-jiru fish soup, pasta sauces, and more.
You can buy the fresh fish in the display case as is, or ask them to prepare it the way you like, such as simmered or grilled!
There is eat-in space on the 1st and 2nd floors, so you can dine inside too!
