“Oirii,” a fishmonger’s deli shop, opened on September 6 near the railroad crossing west of Hanshin Ashiya Station.

↑ Just south of the railroad crossing, head into the narrow alley with the sign…

↑ And you’ll find “Oirii,” a deli shop run by “Totomakoto,” a fresh fish shop in Fukae Minamimachi.
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 2-1 Hirata Kitamachi, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

↑ There was a sign with a fish at the entrance to the alley!

↑ Inside, they sell chilled and frozen prepared dishes, fried foods, bento boxes, fish soup, pasta sauces, and more.

↑ You can choose fresh fish from the case and buy it as is, or ask them to cook it the way you like, such as simmered or grilled!
There are eat-in areas on the first and second floors, so you can enjoy your food in the shop too. (Takeout is, of course, also OK!)
What’s around “Oirii”

↑ The shop is located at the end of this narrow alley.

↑ If you go this way (north), you’ll reach the railroad crossing at the west end of the Hanshin Ashiya Station platform. Cross it and continue straight to reach the intersection with the Naruo-Mikage Line.

↑ If you go the other way (south), you’ll find “Hamagakuen Ashiya Classroom.”

Finally
It’s tucked away at the end of an alley in a quiet, hidden-away location, but lots of customers were already visiting from the first day it opened. It made me think the fish shop must be popular too! (It looks like they also sell online.)
I actually tried taking out a bento and oil-simmered dish, so I’ll introduce them later in “Ashitsuu Gourmet”!
