I bought some fresh “nama” bread at the fresh bread specialty shop “Nogami Hotel Takezono Ashiya” near JR Ashiya Station!
“Nogami Hotel Takezono Ashiya” “Nama Shokupan Half (1 loaf) Size”

“Nama Shokupan Half (1 loaf) Size” 432 yen (tax included)
Since it’s a one-loaf size, it’s almost a cube! It’s just the right size for a small household.

When eaten as is, without toasting…it’s soft, fluffy, and chewy! You can really taste the flavor of the wheat.

The next day, I had it as toast… and enjoyed its crispy yet chewy texture!

It’s good on its own, and it seems like it would also go well with butter or jam. It has a mild taste and is easy to eat.
Menu at “Nogami Hotel Takezono Ashiya”

In addition to nama shokupan, they sell jam, croutons, gift sets, and more.
