We tried the steak and salad & soup bar at “Magnet Cafe Takezono,” located on the 1st floor of “Hotel Takezono Ashiya” in front of JR Ashiya Station!

It’s currently being offered at a special price as part of an anniversary promotion! Such a deal!
The deli items, salads, and soups change daily, but on this day there were lots of Asian and ethnic dishes, including zasai pickles, namul, and tandoori chicken!
To go with the Asian-style deli salad, I chose “Tom Yum Goong” for the soup!
I added plenty of the cilantro served on the side, too! The refreshing acidity and spiciness were irresistible.
“Charcoal-Grilled U.S. Loin 100g (a la carte)” special price 750 yen (tax included)
As a special June menu item, this steak was being offered for 750 yen!
In July, “Charcoal-Grilled Hand-Kneaded Hamburg Steak 100g” is being offered at the same special price of 750 yen (tax included).
It’s a firm, lean cut of meat, but not tough at all, and it’s juicy! Even 100g is quite satisfying.

It’s immediately on your right after entering through the main entrance of “Hotel Takezono Ashiya.”
From the terrace seating, you can see the area in front of JR Ashiya Station, including “Mont et Mer.”
The “deli Salad & Soup Bar” is laid out like this, and you can take as much of your favorite deli items, salads, and soups as you like.
Hand sanitizer and disposable gloves were provided, and the staff checked the area frequently, which felt reassuring!
