I tried taking out a hamburger steak from “Big Boy Ashiya,” which is called the Ashiya location but isn’t actually in Ashiya City (it’s in Nishinomiya City)!

When I opened the lid, there was a hamburger steak drowning in rich demi-glace sauce and melty cheese!
When I lifted up the tender hamburger steak, which cuts easily with chopsticks, the meat juices came flowing out… It was just as juicy as I’d hoped!
I also dipped the sides, like broccoli, potatoes, and paprika, into plenty of demi-glace sauce♪
The Menu at “Big Boy Ashiya”
The takeout menu posted at the restaurant mainly featured “bento” meals that come with rice, but you can also order just the main dish without rice! If you already have rice cooked at home, ordering it à la carte might be cheaper and a bit lighter.

It’s located along National Route 2, around the border between Ashiya City and Nishinomiya City. By address, it’s just barely in Nishinomiya City!
There are lots of family restaurants around here, and some are just inside Ashiya City while others are just inside Nishinomiya City.
The neighboring “Volks Ashiya” is actually properly located in Ashiya City, though.
