The other day, we reported that “a bear had apparently appeared near the summit of Takao-yama (Shiroyama)”, and it seems another bear was spotted again yesterday, June 25.

Last time it was near the summit, but this time the bear was reportedly seen crossing a trail on the south side of the summit, so it’s worrying to think it might come down toward residential areas.

Please stay away from the area, and if you go into the mountains, take plenty of precautions, such as carrying something that makes noise!
