Guardian Deity of Omasu Park [Ashiya Photo]

At Omasu Park in Omasu-cho, near Hanshin Ashiya Station, guardian figures stand at all four corners of the park.

Near the park entrances… there are some cute, round little figures!

This one is… probably a cat!

This one looks like a doggy! Those floppy ears are adorable!

And this one is… hmm, a bear? A frog?

Th-this one…!! This must be the bear! And wow, those stains make it look seriously intimidating! It’s a little scary!

With these four cute guardians keeping a watchful eye on the park, even small children should be able to play here safely.

(We looked it up afterward, and apparently these are signs with “おおますこうえん” written on the back! We didn’t notice!)
