It looks like the upscale supermarket “Big Beans” is coming to the former site of “Kobeya Restaurant Ashiya” on the north side of JR Ashiya Station, along Miyagawa Keyaki-dori.
A rendering of the completed building was posted on the construction site wall↓

Here’s the map↓
The address is 16-21 Oharacho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
What’s Around “Big Beans”

The Hankyu Bus “Kishinosatobashi” bus stop is right in front.

If you head this way north, you’ll reach the Hankyu Kobe Line tracks. After passing under the elevated railway, you’ll find “Ikari Ashiya” and “Ashiya Higashiyama Post Office.”

If you head the opposite way south, it intersects with Yamate Kansen at the “Shinnozukabashi” intersection. Continuing further, it crosses Ashiya Ekimae-dori at the “Kamimiyagawabashi” intersection, where “La Mall Ashiya” is located.

Across the street is “Ashiya Rose Blanc,” a specialty shop for parasols and light-blocking goods.
Wrapping Up
“Big Beans” has apparently been operating upscale supermarkets and bakeries in Osaka City, but this may become its first location outside Osaka City and its first in Hyogo Prefecture. There isn’t any information on the official website yet, but as soon as we find out details like the opening date, we’ll let you know here on Ashitsu!
