We tried getting Indian Curry to go from Indian Curry Ashiya, located near JR Ashiya Station!
The “Indian Curry” from Indian Curry Ashiya

“Indian Curry” ¥780 (tax included)
Some of you may have already noticed, but…I messed up.

Even though it says, “Please eat within 10 minutes”…I took way too long to get home…!!
If you’re taking Indian Curry to go, make sure you’re ready to eat it within 10 minutes before buying it!

The rice had soaked up quite a bit of the curry. Sorry…!

When I tried it…oh, actually, this was surprisingly good in its own way. The serving seems to include plenty of rice, perhaps to balance out the curry’s intensely sweet and spicy flavor.
Even after soaking up the curry, it was still enjoyable—almost like curry pilaf…but I feel bad that I didn’t get to experience Indian Curry the way it was meant to be eaten…!

The curry has big, chunky pieces of meat! What a treat!
It was still perfectly delicious this way, but I’m determined to eat it within 10 minutes next time…!
Menu at Indian Curry Ashiya

Besides Indian Curry, Indian Spaghetti and Hayashi Rice also appear to be available for takeout. Taking the spaghetti to go sounds like even more of a race against the clock…!

There are also some retro food models displayed outside the restaurant.
