We tried takeout sashimi and Saikyo miso-marinated seafood from the fish deli “Ashiya Etsusaburo” near Hanshin Ashiya Station!
“Ashiya Etsusaburo”’s “Saikyo Miso-Marinated Octopus” and “Korodai Sashimi”

“Saikyo Miso-Marinated Octopus” 702 yen (tax included)
It’s sold frozen. You often hear of white fish marinated in Saikyo miso, but octopus is pretty unusual!

After thawing it, lightly wipe off the miso, then cook it in a frying pan lined with cooking paper. It won’t stick, and it’s easy to prepare!

The tender octopus from Awaji Island is thoroughly infused with the flavor of Saikyo miso!
It has a rich flavor, so it would probably go well with drinks too.

“Korodai Sashimi” 648 yen (tax included)

Springy, firm korodai sashimi from Awaji Island!
They also sell sashimi made with fresh fish caught daily around Awaji Island, and they feature it on Instagram too!
