“BAR Ashiya Nikki”, located near Hanshin Ashiya Station along the Naruo-Mikage Line, opened a new location on the 2nd floor of the same building on May 31.

You can see the congratulatory flowers for the opening from outside too.
There’s a sign with the name of owner-bartender Mr. Kusano!
With the opening of the new 2nd-floor location, the 4th-floor location will apparently be closed for a while.
Area around “BAR Ashiya Nikki”
It’s located along the Naruo-Mikage Line, on the east side of Hanshin Ashiya Station.
If you go this way (east), you’ll find the pastry shop “ティティコファ,” the seafood restaurant “しらん”, the stationery store “堀萬昭堂 本店,” and more.
If you go the other way (west), the neighboring building is “アルコーブ芦屋,” and beyond that are the pastry shop “ポッシュドゥレーヴ” and “アンリ・シャルパンティエ芦屋本店”. Cross over to the left side and you’ll reach Hanshin Ashiya Station.
Across the Naruo-Mikage Line is Tominaga Clinic (internal medicine, pediatrics, gastroenterology).

The interior is so bright, with lovely warm wood tones! It looks like a relaxing space for lunch or café time too.
