We picked up some soft French bread right away from “Francepan Jinja Ashiya Main Store,” a shop specializing in soft French bread that opened on May 31!
“Francepan Jinja” Soft French Bread

“Soft French Bread” 864 yen per loaf (tax included)
It’s a huge, soft French bread measuring about 60 cm long and weighing around 900 g!

It was so big that I tried cutting it in half first. It’s so fluffy that even a bread knife had trouble slicing through it!

First, I tried eating one slice as is… so chewy!!
It’s so springy and chewy that it almost feels like it could get stuck in your throat. Be careful if you eat it without toasting.

The shop recommends eating it as “toast with butter,” so I toasted it and added some butter.

Sure enough, toasting gives it a fragrant, crisp texture, making it less overly chewy and easier to eat than when it’s untoasted!
Spread some butter on it and it tastes even more perfect for breakfast. This is definitely one you should toast.
