We grabbed takeout right away from Yifang Ashiya Ekimae, a Taiwanese tea and fruit tea specialty shop that opened on April 9 on the 1st floor of Laporte East Building in front of JR Ashiya Station!
Yifang Ashiya Ekimae’s Brown Sugar Tapioca Latte

There were so many drinks that it was hard to choose, but for my first order, I went with the classic choice when you think of tapioca: brown sugar latte.
They told me to mix it before drinking, so I stirred it around with the straw and it looked like this.
The sweet, slightly bittersweet brown sugar syrup and milk go perfectly with the chewy tapioca pearls. It had been a while since I last had a tapioca drink, but it had that familiar, reliable flavor that makes you think, “Yes, this is the one.” It really gives you a boost when you’re tired.
The staff also gave me a sample of their Yifang Fruit Tea. Apparently, it’s their most popular drink.
It contains both passion fruit and pineapple jam, making it super tropical! It’s the perfect flavor for the coming summer.

You can enjoy fruit teas made with jam imported from Taiwan, brown sugar tapioca lattes, straight Taiwanese teas, Taiwanese tea milk teas, tea lattes, and more. For each drink, you can choose the size, amount of ice, sweetness level, and whether to add tapioca as a topping.
It looks like they’re also planning to offer fruit teas and lattes made with strawberries in the future. We’re looking forward to it!
