It is about a five-minute walk from the Hankyu Bus “Ashiya-shi Sogo Koen-mae” bus stop. There is no on-site parking, so visitors arriving by car should use the paid north parking lot at Miratap Park Ashiya (Sogo Koen) to the west.

Who can participate?

Children who live in Ashiya City and their parents or guardians. Children cannot apply on their own.

How to apply

Apply through the LoGo Form linked on the Ashiya City webpage. Applications will be accepted from 12:00 on Thursday, August 6, through 21:00 on Wednesday, August 19.

Please bring indoor shoes and a drink, as there are no vending machines inside the facility. Wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes; sandals are not permitted.

In Closing

We use water every day, but there are not many opportunities to see where it actually goes. With huge tanks to explore and microorganisms to observe, this sounds like something adults could genuinely enjoy too. Attendance is limited to 20 people on a first-come, first-served basis, so apply early if you are interested.
