It looks like a new Chinese restaurant called “旬菜中華 いちごいちえ” is opening near Hanshin Fukae Station today, Friday, July 3!

↑ It is on the first floor of an apartment building, second from the north among a row of restaurants. “炭火焼鳥 うつわ” is immediately to the right when facing the storefront.
↑ Head this way (north) and you’ll reach the Naruo–Mikage Line. Cross the road and continue straight to find places such as “神戸市立 本庄児童館.”
↑ Head in the opposite direction (south) and you’ll find “たじま屋 深江本店,” “沖縄そば食堂 ねっこ,” and other establishments.

↑ In addition to classic Chinese dishes such as Sichuan mapo tofu, green pepper steak, and sweet-and-sour pork, the menu appears to include dim sum such as gyoza, shumai, and spring rolls, as well as noodle dishes such as tantanmen and char siu and green onion noodle soup.

Final Thoughts
The name “いちごいちえ” brings to mind the Chinese restaurant “美食美菜 いちごいちえ,” which used to be in Chayanomachi, Ashiya. It closed on April 20 this year.
Judging from the restaurants followed by its official Instagram account, it gives the impression that it might be operated by the same company. We don’t know whether the food will taste the same, but we can’t help getting our hopes up a little!
