When is it happening?
Saturday, August 1, 2026, 13:00–21:00
Fireworks launch: 19:45, for about 45 minutes
*The “Cleanup Operation” will also be held the following day, Sunday, August 2 (8:00–12:00)

Miratap Park Ashiya (Ashiya City General Park), Shio-Ashiya Green Space, and Shio-Ashiya Beach

Community Fair (13:00–21:00)
Community Stage (14:00–19:45)
Performers are being recruited from Monday, June 1 to Wednesday, June 24! Open to any genre, including singing and dancing. Applicants must live or work in the city (groups may include participants from other cities).Fireworks show “ASHIYA DANCING FIREWORKS SHOW” (from 19:45, about 45 minutes)
Cleanup Operation (the following day, August 2, 8:00–12:00)
How much is it?
To view the event at the venue, you’ll need either a “viewing seat ticket” or a “community plaza admission ticket.”
There are lots of seating options, from affordable beach areas to premium seats with meals included, so check the official website for details〜 (Apparently they may also be available as return gifts for hometown tax donations.)

The annual “Samaka” is back, but this year it will be held on August 1, one week later than usual, so take note! With seats that include a luxurious dinner or BBQ, it looks like it could make for some special summer memories〜
