The west side of the 1st floor at “Daimaru Ashiya,” the department store directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, has been closed for the cosmetics section renewal, so you can’t pass through there right now〜
↑There’s a “Closed” notice posted at the west-side entrance on the 1st floor, and you can’t go in.
↑It looks like the area is closed due to renewal and renovation work on the cosmetics section that had been operating in the west-side area of the 1st floor〜
It doesn’t say how long the closure will last, but the renewed cosmetics section is scheduled to open on Friday, February 27. So it may stay closed until around then.
↑While the west entrance is closed, there was a map directing visitors to use the “North Entrance” on the east side.
↑Inside the store as well, there’s a “Closed” notice posted before the area under renovation.
After the renovation, the space will reportedly be “updated into a sales floor where customers can freely, enjoyably, and casually try and purchase cosmetics.” We’re looking forward to seeing what kind of section it becomes!
