“ASHIYA Cafe” on the 1st Floor of Ashiya City Hall Is Changing Its Name and Reopening in April

The café “ASHIYA Cafe supported by NESCAFE,” located on the first floor of Ashiya City Hall’s main building just south of Hanshin Ashiya Station, is apparently planning to change its name and reopen with a refreshed concept in April〜

Although the café’s name will change, it appears that it will continue to be operated by the Yadorigi Art General Incorporated Association (Yadorigi Works Type B Continuous Employment Support Facility)〜

“ASHIYA Cafe supported by NESCAFE” opened in April 2021 as a joint project between Nestlé Japan and Ashiya City to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Ashiya’s incorporation as a city.

Since May 2023, it has been operated by the Yadorigi Art General Incorporated Association (Yadorigi Works Type B Continuous Employment Support Facility). In addition to employing Ashiya residents with disabilities as staff members, the café also sells goods made at disability welfare service facilities and other organizations within the city.
