A new “McDonald’s Kobe Fukae” opened on December 22 at the former Lawson site in front of Higashinada Elementary School in Fukae Kitamachi, along the Naruo-Mikage Line〜
↑This is what it looked like on the morning of opening day. About half of the seats inside seemed to be filled〜
↑There is a large bicycle parking area in front of the shop, but it looks like there is no car parking lot. It seems best to go on foot or by bicycle〜
↑There are self-ordering kiosks right after you enter, the order counter is toward the back, and the seating area is to the left. There does not appear to be a second-floor seating area, only 22 seats on the first floor.

↑It is on the first floor of a two-story building on the northeast corner of the intersection of the Naruo-Mikage Line and Fudabasuji (Fukae Main Line). This used to be the location of “Lawson Kobe Fukae Kitamachi 2-chome.” On the second floor is the after-school day service “Galileo Fukae Classroom.”
↑If you go this way east along the Naruo-Mikage Line, you’ll find “Kirindo Higashinada Fukae,” “Le Cercle,” “Taiho Gyoza,” “Lawson Kobe Fukae Kitamachi 1-chome,” and others. This is toward Ashiya City.
↑If you go the opposite way west, you’ll find “Amagasaki Shinkin Bank Fukae Branch,” “Sugi Pharmacy Hanshin Fukae,” “Yakiniku no Gyuta Honjin Fukae,” and others. This is toward Hanshin Fukae Station.
↑Across the street is Kobe Municipal Higashinada Elementary School.

Final Thoughts
With no parking lot and only 22 seats, it feels like a smaller neighborhood-oriented location〜. Since there won’t be cars coming in and out, it may be easier to access on foot or by bicycle. It’s a 15-minute walk from Hanshin Ashiya Station, so it’s just a little closer than going to the JR Ashiya location, which is a 17-minute walk! (According to Google Maps)
