At the event space on the 3rd floor of the main building of “Mont et Mer,” the shopping mall directly connected to JR Ashiya Station, “Walking Together with Ashiya: From Those Days to Today, and On to Tomorrow” will apparently be held from Thursday, October 2 to Thursday, October 9.

An exhibition commemorating the 45th anniversary of Mont et Mer and Daimaru Ashiya
- An art exhibition by high school students themed around “Ashiya Station Front of the Future”
- Works by the art clubs of Hyogo Prefectural Ashiya High School and Hyogo Prefectural International High School
- Cover illustrations from “Mont et Mer Tsushin” by illustrator Nobutaka Takahashi, along with nostalgic advertisements
- A giveaway of newly drawn postcards by Mr. Takahashi (available while supplies last)
- Photos and advertisements looking back on the 45-year history of Daimaru Ashiya
- A recreated “Marchen Bag” with the same design as when the store first opened will also appear
- A town photo panel exhibition showing Ashiya during the Showa era
