Near JR Ashiya Station, the fresh pasta specialty restaurant “PASTA DINER”, which had been operating on the 1st floor of Arpa Ashiya, closed on March 17 due to relocation.

↑It looks like the restaurant is scheduled to relocate and reopen in late April under the name “Magasin du Pâte Operetta Ashiya” on the 2nd floor of the West Building of “Liv”, the shopping mall directly connected to Sumiyoshi Station on the JR Kobe Line.
↓“Liv” is currently undergoing a full-building renovation, and after the renewal, 21 new stores are scheduled to open, including three shops originally from Ashiya〜
In the press release announced last month, the shop was scheduled to open under the name “Magasin du Pâte La Grue Ashiya,” but it seems the name has been changed to “Operetta.”

Here’s the map↓
The address is 1F, Arpa Ashiya Building No. 2, 1-20 Matsunouchicho, Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area Around “PASTA DINER”

↑It’s on the 1st floor of “Arpa Ashiya,” an area lined with many restaurants on the west side of JR Ashiya Station. On the left is the affiliated bakery “BAKE STAND” (temporarily closed since last November), and on the right is the izakaya “Ashiya Shoku & Hito no En Utage.”

↑If you go this way (east), you’ll find the Indian restaurant “Nawa Shanti,” the chicken restaurant “Ashiya Torikiyo,” the udon shop “Takoko,” and then you’ll come out in front of JR Ashiya Station.

↑If you go the opposite way (west), you’ll find “Cuvee Couleur,” “Hong Kong Cuisine Junsei,” “Ashiya Shokudo manchos!,” and then reach Taisho Bridge over the Ashiya River.

↑Across the street, there’s the coworking and rental space “hideout space,” among other places.
Finally
It’s a shame that “PASTA DINER” is leaving Ashiya, but I hope it spreads the flavors of Ashiya as “Operetta” in neighboring Higashinada Ward! The renewal of “Liv,” the station building in Sumiyoshi, is probably an event that Ashiya residents will be very curious about too〜
