We got takeout sandwiches and liver pâté from CHOP STOCK, located near Hanshin Ashiya Station along the Naruo-Mikage Line!
CHOP STOCK’s “Ham Sandwich” and “White Liver Pâté”

“Ham Sandwich” 500 yen (tax included)

Freshly sliced prosciutto is tucked into a baguette with an incredibly crisp crust!
You can choose your favorite ham from the showcase. For this one, I picked “Prosciutto di Parma, aged 30 months”!
You can also add cheese for an extra 200 yen!

It’s packed with prosciutto and looks like it would go perfectly with wine.

“White Liver Pâté” 650 yen (tax included)

It’s sold frozen, so you thaw it in your refrigerator at home before eating.
Apparently, it’s a pâté made with chicken liver, vegetables, port wine, and brandy.

I had it on crackers! It’s rich, but without any strong liver odor, so it’s easy to eat.
It would probably pair nicely with wine or dark beer too.
CHOP STOCK’s Menu

The takeout menu includes sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and assorted ham and cheese platters.

You can also order them for eat-in dining inside the shop.

Of course, you can also buy individual portions of ham and cheese!

There are also frozen and refrigerated cases on the left side after you enter the shop.
