The 37th Ashiya Sakura Festival will be held along the east-side road by the Ashiya River, between Taisho Bridge and National Route 2/Narihira Bridge, and at Matsunouchi Green Space, on Sunday, April 6, from 10:00 to 17:30.

Please note that compared with last year, the festival will end one hour earlier.

The venue road, Narihira Sakura-dori, will be lined with chairs and tables for cherry blossom viewing, plus 24 food stalls!
In addition to classic festival foods like yakisoba, frankfurters, French fries, and fried chicken, you’ll also be able to enjoy some stylish, very Ashiya-like drinks such as wine and champagne.
At Matsunouchi Green Space, a park inside the venue, there will also be a street stage. Enjoy some lovely music and dance along with the cherry blossoms!

Final Thoughts
The Ashiya Sakura Festival is back again this year! We’re really looking forward to enjoying festival food and stage performances under the cherry blossoms in full bloom. The cherry blossom light-up has already started, and it looks like it will be available until Sunday, April 13.
