The “Seido Pedestrian Bridge” crossing National Route 43 has been closed to traffic since January 7 due to repair work aimed at extending its service life.

The construction period is scheduled for January 7 to Friday, February 28. The work itself will take place during the daytime from Monday to Saturday (9:00 to 17:00), but the bridge will be closed all day throughout the period, so it cannot be used early in the morning, at night, or on Sundays either.
During the closure, pedestrians will need to detour via Takezono Pedestrian Bridge to the east (southwest of Hyogo Prefectural Ashiya High School) or Ashiya Pedestrian Bridge to the west (south of Ashiya City Hall).

↑ The north side of the pedestrian bridge is Seido-cho, and the south side is Takezono-cho. Since it is closed all day, all entrances on the east, west, north, and south sides are closed.
I don’t think anyone will accidentally enter the fenced-off area, but even if you go there, you won’t be able to cross, so please take care!
