Mayor Takashima was selected as the 10th person in the [Politics, Economy & Business Category]. He took office last year, but it seems the deciding factor was that he was featured in the UK magazine “The Economist” as the youngest mayor, someone who had followed “an unusual career path for a young person in Japan.”

↑At this year’s Autumn Festival, Mayor Takashima even took a commemorative photo with Shacho-mi. We hope he continues to be a wonderful mayor who draws attention from around the world in the best possible way〜!
