“鰻の成瀬” is said to be an unaju specialty restaurant chain offering reasonably priced eel rice boxes, with locations across Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa〜

↑ It’s on the 1st floor of “La Mall Ashiya” along Ekimae-dori. Facing the building, “HAPPY HOUSE” is on the left, and “芦屋写真室” is on the right.
↑ If you go this way (east), you’ll find places like the bakery “Rios,” and after crossing the Miyagawa River, you’ll head toward Shinnozukacho and Shukugawa.
↑ If you go the opposite way (west), you’ll find “Organic Plaza La Mall Ashiya,” “Masaya JR Ashiya East,” and then arrive in front of JR Ashiya Station, where “Mont et Mer” and “Laporte” are located.

Currently, eel restaurants in Ashiya City include “江戸焼うなぎ 三佳” in Ogusucho, “戎家” in Maedacho, and “うなぎずし駿河” in Uchidecho. (“うなぎ亭一座 芦屋店” in Kawanishicho closed last year.)
There surprisingly didn’t seem to be many eel specialty restaurants right in front of JR Ashiya Station, so there may be demand for this〜
